As Knowsley’s research Officer, my job is to develop a strategy for increasing evidence and enquiry based practice in school and to help teachers and education assistants who want to start or continue with research in their own school or classroom. They may want advice or simply an informed sounding board for their ideas.

The Higher Side School Journal of Action Research (available in schools now) is an excellent example of teachers enquiring into their own work. Look out also for SPARK, the Knowsley LIG journal devoted to action research with contributions from national and international researchers as well as from colleagues in Knowsley.
