Microsoft has launched a customised version of its Internet Explorer 8 web browser to promote online safety for families.
The Click Clever Click Safe browser version has a button to access the government-run Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) directly, letting users report concerns and find online safety information. The toolbar contains a web slice (an auto-updating mini page) for accessing information on topics such as cyber-bullying, viruses, hacking and parental controls.
The Internet Explorer 8 Click Clever Click Safe can be downloaded here.
