ICT Conference 2019

Thursday 31st January 2019 – 9am – 4pm

Our annual ICT conference is now in it’s FIFTH year! The conference has had amazing feedback from attendees and will again showcase the latest developments in blended learning, new ideas for the use of ICT/computing, educational software and hands-on-workshops in schools. The conference is open to all schools in Knowsley, Sefton, Liverpool, St Helens, Halton and beyond!

Our keynote speaker will be Ross Morrison McGill, he is the founder of @TeacherToolkit; an experienced teacher and school leader who has worked in some of the most challenging schools in London over the past three decades. He is one of the ‘most followed educators on Twitter in the UK’ and managing director Teacher Toolkit. In December 2015, he was nominated for The Sunday Times ‘500 Most Influential People in Britain 2015‘ and remains the only classroom teacher to have featured. He is currently training teachers across the U.K.; a PGCE tutor and studying for his EdD at Cambridge University.

As in previous years, our keynote speaker will deliver a couple of workshops, we will be delivering a couple and PrimeVR have agreed to deliver one.  We are currently confirming a number of further workshops, we will update this page as we do.

This is our fifth year and it promises to be bigger than ever – with lots more prizes including an iPad! Delegates will again have the opportunity to learn more about innovations in the use of technology and the computing curriculum with keynote from leading innovators and practitioners. Previous keynotes have been from Mr Phil Bagge,  Mr Lee Parkinson,  Mark Anderson (ICT Evangelist), Abdul Chohan (ESSA Academy) and Prof Stephen Heppell.
